Mohit Khattar, Managing Director, Godrej Nature’s Basket won the prestigious Brand Slam Leadership Award on the 13th of October, 2012, that recognized him for his outstanding achievement amongst several noted industry professionals. Brand Slam awards is an initiative by CMO Asia – a forum that is dedicated to high level knowledge Exchange through Leadership & Networking amongst senior CMOs and brand decision makers across industry segments. These awards are selected by a three tier rigorous process. A list of over 300 prospective winners for this award are first recommended by a Research Cell which comprises of Post Graduates in History & Management with a certain years of experience. This exhaustive list is then submitted to a Review committee is chaired by Andrew Kelly and Dr. R L Bhatia, Founder of World CSR Day and Congress to shortlist from over 300 names to about 100. The criteria adopted in this case is Strategic Perspective, Future Orientation, Track Record, Ability for Sustainability. These select names are then shared with an independent jury of senior professionals from marketing and branding to decide on the recipient of the award.
