Coca-Cola Golden Spoon Awards

Godrej Nature's Basket continues to reign the gourmet space as it bags two very prestigious awards at the Coca Cola Golden Spoon Awards 2012 hosted by Food & Grocery Forum, India on the 12th of December, 2012. The leading gourmet destination was recognized as the "Most Admired Speciality Retailer Of The Year" and the "Most Admired National Supermarket Chain Of The Year".
The awards were held as part of the magnum opus of the Indian food & grocery industry, 'The Food & Grocery Forum India'. The first day of the modern retail forum (12th-13th December)concluded with a glitterati evening that witnessed the felicitation of India’s leading food & grocery retailers and foodservice chains at the sixth Coca Cola Golden Spoon Awards 2012.
 

Best in-house magazine by CMO Asia

Godrej Nature’s Basket won the Bets in-house magazine award by the 3rd edition of CMO Asia on the 19th of July, 2012. This award recognized GNB newsletter, Taster, as one of the most effective communication platforms introduced by the brand. Godrej nature’s Basket was recognized for the outstanding initiative along with 4 other reputed brands- SBI Life Insurance, NIIT Technologies, Brandix lanka and Coromandel International.
 

Brand Slam

Mohit Khattar, Managing Director, Godrej Nature’s Basket won the prestigious Brand Slam Leadership Award on the 13th of October, 2012, that recognized him for his outstanding achievement amongst several noted industry professionals. Brand Slam awards is an initiative by CMO Asia – a forum that is dedicated to high level knowledge Exchange through Leadership & Networking amongst senior CMOs and brand decision makers across industry segments. These awards are selected by a three tier rigorous process. A list of over 300 prospective winners for this award are first recommended by a Research Cell which comprises of Post Graduates in History & Management with a certain years of experience. This exhaustive list is then submitted to a Review committee is chaired by Andrew Kelly and Dr. R L Bhatia, Founder of World CSR Day and Congress to shortlist from over 300 names to about 100. The criteria adopted in this case is Strategic Perspective, Future Orientation, Track Record, Ability for Sustainability. These select names are then shared with an independent jury of senior professionals from marketing and branding to decide on the recipient of the award.
 

"Most Admired Retailer Of The Year 2012" in Food & Grocery category

Godrej Nature’s Basket bagged the ‘Most Admired Retailer of the year award in the Food & Grocery Category’ at the Retail Forum hosted by IMAGES on the 11th of October, 2012.

The prestigious 2 day modern retail forum was held at the Renaissance, Mumbai, (10th - 11th of October) and witnessed some of the best of the industry and the opinion makers mapping the future of retail. The magnum opus yearly affair of Images Group, a congregation of the most innovative and successful retail brands, companies and minds from across the globe, felicitated Godrej Nature’s Basket with the award for its dynamic leadership in the food and grocery sector. Having recognized Godrej Nature’s Basket amongst known retail giants in this category, the excellence award acknowledged the gourmet chain beyond the niche category of Foreign food retail.
 

Star Retailer Award for the “Food & Grocery Retailer of the Year 2012”

Godrej Nature’s Basket bagged the ‘Star Retailer Award for the Food & Grocery Retailer of the Year’ at Asia’s biggest franchise and retail summit- Franchise India 2012. The award was presented at the 10th edition of this noted summit on the 4th of November, 2012.

The 2 day annual summit (3rd November – 4th November, 2012) was held at the Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, with attendance from over 2,50,000 business entities and 150 business events spanned across these 2 days. The celebrated forum that recognizes and honors the best in Asia Retail Industry, felicitated Godrej Nature’s Basket with the award for outstanding performance in consumer centricity and sales revenues amongst noted giants in the retail space. With this award, the leading gourmet chain has now won and been recognized at every retail forum in India in 2012.
 

Coca-Cola Golden Spoon Awards

A pioneering awards ceremony in the food and beverage sector, the Golden Spoon awards acknowledge excellence in food retailing & food services, retailers adopting best practices at the back end and front end, including customer relations, smart strategy, operational efficiencies and innovation across value chain. It is an annual awards ceremony that is organized in association with Images Retail and is part of the Food & Grocery forum India held every year Godrej Nature’s Basket, won the Coca Cola Golden Spoon award for the ‘Most Admired Foreign Food Retailer of the year’ consecutively for two years (2010-2011 & 2011-2012)
 

Asia Retail Award

The annual 2 day glitterati event of Asia Retail Summit (Feb, 2012) was held at Taj lands End, Mumbai with the best of industry and opinion makers attending this forum. The magnum opus yearly affair of Asia Retail Congress, a global platform supported by over 100 countries to promote world-class retail practices, felicitated Godrej Nature’s Basket as the ‘Best Retailer of the Year’ for its dynamic leadership in the food and grocery sector.
 

Godrej Awards 2011

The Godrej awards is an annual internal engagement initiative, that acknowledges and felicitates excellence in performance within the group. The initiative is spread across 3 months of team building events followed by the final awards function held in April of every year. In 2011, Godrej Nature’s Basket team won the award for ‘Outstanding Customer Centricity’.
